First Time at Floridatown Baptist

When You Arrive

When you arrive at the church, feel free to park anywhere and come on in. Handicapped parking is in the front of the church. You’ll discover a down-to-earth, welcoming setting. Our hospitality team is the entire church and be ready for some neck-hugging. The foyer has the weekly bulletins and other event information – even some candy at times. Get comfortable in the main sanctuary, and we’ll be glad to answer any questions you may have along the way.

In The Service

Our services last a little over an hour and include a vibrant time of worship through singing, prayer, and preaching centered in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each service normally begins with announcements followed by traditional singing and music led by Sandra Moore. Our Pastor, brother Joel Hunt, will then open the morning with a joke, or a prayer for snow, or a sports victory update, and then deliver a memorable and thought provoking message rooted in the gospel of Christ. The service will close with the joining of hands and the singing of “The Family of God”.

After the Service

Once the service is over, our staff and family members would love to meet you and answer any questions you may have about Jesus or the church. Brother Joel will greet each person at the door as you leave. We all hope that you felt welcomed and comfortable at all times. It is a true blessing for all as our family grows, so please come back again and again.
